ABOUT PERFECT PAWS U
I own Perfect Paws U Obedience School and am dedicated to teaching people how to train their dogs in a happy atmosphere with as little stress as possible. I believe that dogs, like humans, would rather do something because they enjoy it rather than “being told to do it”. It also make training your dog more fun and when something is fun, you’re much more likely to practice more!!

This is why I use positive re-enforcement training as my foundation. We start out praising the behavior we want and ignoring the behavior we do not want. I use a variety of tools including clickers, treats, touch stick, voice and hand commands. There is no “one way” to train a dog. Like humans, dogs have different personalities and you must discover your dog’s personality to be able to choose the training discipline that will compliment your dog.
