HANOVER BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT AWARDED JAG GRANT
The Hanover Borough Police Department has been awarded a $229,227 Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) 2024 / 2025 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) for the purchase of nineteen body worn cameras (BWC), five mobile video records (MVR) and associated technology, replacing the department’s outdated equipment. BWC’s, which are worn on the upper torso of officers to capture incidents from the forward-facing officer’s perspective, were implemented by Borough Police in 2016.

Martin Library will host over 20 local authors and poets from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21. The public is invited to attend the festivities inside the library at 159 E.
