REVS' COSTA NAMED ALPB PITCHER OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND TIME
Rookie takes home award after pair of scoreless starts last week

York Revolution left hander Julian Costa has been selected Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, it was announced by the league office today.
Costa went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA over the past week, combining for 11.0 innings with just nine hits and two walks while striking out eight. He began his week with five scoreless frames in a victory at Staten Island on Tuesday night and tossed six scoreless innings in Sunday’s victory, helping the Revs to a pair of key wins in their second half pennant race.
The 24-year-old rookie is 9-2 with a 4.79 ERA in 13 starts and has allowed three earned runs or fewer in nine of those outings. Combined between his All-American performance at West Chester University where he went 13-2 this spring, he is 22-4 over 170.0 innings in 2026.
Costa’s award marks the fifth weekly honor by a Revs player this season and the third by a pitcher. He is one of only three two-time winners across the league this year and is the only pitcher to have claimed the honor twice.
