BOROUGH OF HANOVER ANNOUNCES NEW BILL PAY PORTAL
The Borough of Hanover has announced an update to its online utility bill pay portal. The new system offers customers the option of setting up auto pay. In addition, credit card and bank payments will not be charged a user fee at this time. Bills will continue to be posted on a quarterly basis. Customers are encouraged to note the following changes:Utility account numbers now begin with a zero (0).Customers in the Borough can now manage both garbage and water/sewer bills under one email account.Customers
JUNIOR COUNCIL PERSONS SWORN IN FOR BOROUGH OF HANOVER
On October 23, 2024 at the Borough of Hanover monthly meeting of the Borough Council, high school juniors Noah Chronister and Alexis Day were sworn in as Junior Council Persons for the 2024-2025 academic year. Appointment to the position involved an application and interview process and an introduction to the Council earlier in the month, in addition to the official ceremony. HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES IN HANOVER, PA
Trick-or-treat in Hanover is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Motorists should be alert for pedestrian activity in the area, and Trick-or-Treaters are urged to carry flashlights and to wear reflective clothing. Residents who wish to participate should turn on their porch lights. The annual Halloween Parade, organized by the Hanover Area Jaycees, is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024. Parking restrictions begin at 5:00 p.m., traffic restrictions begin at 6:30 p.m.
