YORK, PA — York College of Pennsylvania is excited to announce that Emmy-nominated
comedian, writer, and Daily Show host Josh Johnson will perform a live stand-up comedy show
on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 8 p.m. at the Waldner Performing Arts Center.
Tickets became available online for students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday, April 1. Tickets
for the public go on sale Friday, April 3. The performance is free for all York College students,
faculty, and staff, while general admission tickets for the public are available for $20.
Recently dubbed “the funniest guy on the internet” by WIRED magazine, Josh Johnson is a
rising star with a massive global following of over 10 million on social media. Johnson’s sharp,
relatable storytelling has earned him an NAACP Award, and his work on The Daily Show has
earned him an Emmy nomination.

About the Artist
Josh Johnson is currently a rotating host and correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy and
Peabody Award-winning program The Daily Show, where he previously served as a writer for
seven years. He is also a former writer and performer for NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring
Jimmy Fallon, where he made his late-night debut in 2017.
Johnson’s reach is truly global; his YouTube channel alone has surpassed half a billion views,
and he recently completed his sold-out FLOWERS TOUR, which spanned 112 cities worldwide.
