York College of PA to offer summer online course in athletic leadership

York College is offering a new online course this summer that will allow students to build expertise and credentials in athletic leadership.

Those who successfully complete the course, “Foundations of Interscholastic Athletic Administration,” will be eligible to apply for the Registered Athletic Administratorcredential from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), which could help them earn a coaching or athletic leadership position in the future.

The three-credit course runs from July 1 through August 16 and will include several live Zoom meetings on Monday evenings. Students may also potentially apply the credits to a master’s degree in education or business.
