Warehaus Named National Finalist for Holiday Campaign Celebrating York County
Campaign inspired by York County's 275th anniversary earned First Place and Best in Show honors from SMPS Philadelphia before advancing to national competition.
YORK, PA — Warehaus, a York-based architecture, engineering, and design firm, has been named a national finalist in the 2026 Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Marketing Communications Awards for its A Taste of York Holiday Mixed Media campaign.
The recognition follows the campaign's First Place finish in the Holiday-Mixed Media category at the SMPS Philadelphia Marketing Communications Awards, where it also earned Best in Show, the highest honor awarded across all categories.
Created in celebration of York County's 275th anniversary, A Taste of York was developed as a holiday gift experience for clients and partners. The campaign highlighted local businesses, landmarks, history, and community projects through a custom-designed package that connected York-made products with Warehaus projects throughout the region.
"We wanted to create a holiday gift that felt uniquely York," said Lauren Bergman, Chief Marketing Officer. "Every item, project, and story included in the campaign reflected the community that has supported Warehaus for more than four decades. It was an opportunity to celebrate York County's history while highlighting the businesses, organizations, and projects that continue to shape its future."
Each recipient received a custom-branded reusable tote featuring iconic York County landmarks and symbols, along with locally sourced products paired with project stories. York Peppermint Patties were linked to the York County History Center, where Warehaus led architectural design and historic preservation efforts, while Stauffer's Animal Crackers highlighted the firm's work on the York County SPCA Brougher Companion Animal Shelter. The physical gift experience was complemented by an interactive digital component featuring project showcases, a memory game highlighting York landmarks, and a York-themed Spotify playlist.
Developed and executed by Warehaus' two-person marketing team, the campaign combined storytelling, community pride, and relationship-building with measurable results. More than 75% of the gifts were hand-delivered to clients and partners, emphasizing appreciation for each enduring relationship.
National winners will be announced during the SMPS Marketing Communications Awards ceremony at Amplify A|E|C 2026 in Las Vegas on July 28, 2026. The SMPS Marketing Communications Awards are among the architecture, engineering, and construction industry's most prestigious honors, recognizing excellence in marketing strategy, creativity, and measurable business impact.
