School of Rock York Celebrates One Year

School of Rock is celebrating  its one year anniversary of being open in York. 

A birthday celebration will be held on November 17 from 2PM to 5PM at the school. The event is free and open to the public. Live music, prize drawings, tours of the school, and cake will be included in the festivities. 

School of Rock offers music education with a focus on performing for ages 4 through adult.  Programs in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and singing are available.

“We are having so much fun at School of Rock,” said owner Bernadette Lauer. “It’s been impressive watching our students grow musically and not only that, but seeing students’ confidence levels increase has been beyond amazing. During this last year, we’ve been able to share our music in the community by performing at several public venues and we are looking forward to many more to come!”
