SCHOOL OF ROCK SEASON SHOWS ANNOUNCED

School of Rock York students will perform 2 free shows this weekend at local venues. Students have been preparing for about 4 months for these live performances.

Adult Program students will perform songs fondly called 'One Hit Wonders' at Burning Bridge Tavern in Wrightsville on February 7. While the artists of One Hit Wonders might not be household names, this show presents a musical journey through some of Rock’s most infectiously memorable tunes! Come sing and dance along to tunes such as 867-5309 (Jenny), Closing Time, Tubthumping, My Sharona, and more!

Performance Program students (ages 9 to 18) will play Garage Rock and Best of the 2000’s on February 9 at Double Barrel Roadhouse in Red Lion. Doors open at 1PM and the show starts at 2PM. All ages are welcome and admission is free. Support these talented young musicians and enjoy an afternoon of great rock music!

School of Rock York opened in November 2023, and offers music education with a focus on performing for ages 4 through adult. Programs in guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and singing are available.
