Philadelphia Eagles Senior VP Bryce Johnston to Deliver 2026 Commencement Address

at His Alma Mater, York College of Pennsylvania

YORK, PA – York College of Pennsylvania is proud to announce that Bryce Johnston ‘11, Senior

Vice President / Tertiary Football Executive for the Philadelphia Eagles and a distinguished

alumnus, will serve as the keynote speaker for Spring 2026 Commencement.

Johnston will speak to graduates at both ceremonies: the first at 9:15 a.m. and the second at

3:00 p.m on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the M&T Bank Field House within the Grumbacher Sport

and Fitness Center. Johnston, a summa cum laude graduate of York College, returns to his

alma mater following his 10th season as a key executive in the National Football League.

Johnston’s journey from York College’s campus to the highest levels of professional sports

management serves as an inspiring roadmap for the Class of 2026. During his time at York,

Johnston was a standout student-athlete, competing for four years on the Division III men’s

lacrosse team while earning his bachelor’s degree in sport management.

Promoted to his current role in 2024, Johnston serves as the Senior Vice President / Tertiary

Football Executive for the Philadelphia Eagles. He has become a vital contributor to the team’s

roster strategy, overseeing salary cap and resource allocation, player acquisition, contract

negotiation and structuring, roster transactions, and compliance with the NFL’s Collective

Bargaining Agreement.

Before his tenure with the Eagles, Johnston earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from

Georgetown University Law Center and practiced corporate law at Proskauer Rose LLP.Event Details
