Participates in the United Way Day of Caring!
York, PA – On Friday, September 19, 2025, First Capital employees took part in the United Way of York County’s Day of Caring and spent the day landscaping and cleaning the pond around Leg Up Farm, a nonprofit therapy center for children with special needs.
“Participating in United Way’s Day of Caring is always a meaningful experience for our team,” said Sue DeStephano, President/CEO of First Capital Federal Credit Union. “Giving back to the community is at the heart of who we are as a credit union.”
United Way Day of Caring is a countywide day of volunteering that has a profound impact on the United Way’s nonprofit partners. More than 400 volunteers gave their time, at more than 50 various project sites across York County.
