First Capital Federal Credit Union Holds 3rd Annual Member Appreciation Event and Chicken BBQ to benefit FirstCap Gives Back Foundation!
York, PA – On Saturday, April 18, 2026, First Capital Federal Credit Union held its 3rd Annual Member Appreciation event and Chicken BBQ at its West York Branch.
The event drew strong community support, with more than 400 chicken barbecue meals sold throughout the day. This includes over 30 meals that were graciously donated to LifePath Christian Ministries by our members, helping extend the impact of the event beyond attendees and into the broader community. Thanks to the support of the community, the FirstCap Gives Back Foundation was able to raise over $2,600.00 to support its efforts to enhance the well-being, education, and development of the community.
“This event is a great example of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose,” said Victoria Ernest, Community Engagement Coordinator at First Capital Federal Credit Union and the FirstCap Gives Back Foundation. “It’s not just about the meals we served, but the connections we built and the opportunity to support organizations that are doing important work right here in our community.”
