Honorable Scholarships to Members!
York, PA – First Capital Federal Credit Union is proud to announce Lily Perry, Ava Cataldi, Joshua Boyles, and Regan Koons are the winners of the 2026 Dennis Flickinger Honorable Scholarships. 
“We are delighted to award these scholarships to four outstanding students,” said Sue DeStephano, President and CEO. “We look forward to seeing all they accomplish in college and throughout their lives. We have no doubt they’ll make a meaningful impact.”
Lily Perry is a senior at West York Area High School. She is headed to Belmont University to major in engineering and physics.
Ava Cataldi is a Dover Area High School senior. She is attending Penn State University to major in nursing.
Joshua Boyles is a senior at Kennard-Dale High School. He will attend Penn State University this fall and major in history education, with a pre-law concentration.
And finally, Regan Koons. Regan is a senior at Red Lion High School. He will attend West Chester University this fall and major in health and physical education.
The First Capital scholarship program was renamed the Dennis Flickinger Honorable Scholarship Program in 2016 to honor our former CEO, Dennis Flickinger, who retired in 2015. Dennis advocated for financial education in schools and worked tirelessly to promote Credit Unions as a better choice for their financial future.
