CPC welcomes Chief Human Resource Officer
Community Progress Council is pleased to welcome Ellyn Garcia as Chief Human Resource Officer, a key role on the nonprofit’s Leadership team.
In her role, Ellyn will work in partnership with Leadership and the broader team to establish and maintain a culture reflective of organizational values. This position is responsible for aligning human resource operations with the strategic goals of Community Progress Council.
Ellyn is an accomplished professional with a history of success in leading diverse human resources teams and overseeing complex initiatives in diverse organizational settings, most recently with Harrisburg University as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to that role, Ellyn directed comprehensive operations and human resources initiatives for the YMCA of Northern Colorado, having risen through the ranks over nearly 20 years. She earned her bachelor of science in Psychology from Colorado State University and is an SHRM Certified Professional.
