Community Progress Council will host its Second Annual Self-Sufficiency Celebration on Thursday,
September 24, 2026, at The Yorktowne Hotel, recognizing participants who have achieved remarkable
milestones on their journey toward financial stability and economic independence.
Presented by The Arthur J. & Lee R. Glatfelter Foundation, the event returns after a highly successful
inaugural celebration in 2025, which generated strong community support and highlighted the life-
changing impact of Community Progress Council's relationship-based coaching model.

Tickets: $50 per person
A limited number of individual tickets are available and can be purchased online.
The evening will bring together elected officials, business and community leaders, Community Progress
Council team members, supporters, and families to celebrate progress, perseverance, and achievement. The
program will honor two groups of individuals:
• Progress Honorees – Participants who have made significant strides toward greater stability and
self-sufficiency• Self-Sufficiency Honorees – Individuals and families who have achieved long-term economic
independence through dedication, goal-setting, and sustained effort

Community Progress Council. “It's about creating opportunities and helping families achieve the goals that
matter most to them, which in turn strengthens our entire community. This celebration recognizes the hard
