The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 16 at 11:15 PM at 976 S George Street, York, PA 17403.
A message from Minnich’s Pharmacy:
Eighty years is a long time in any business. For Minnich’s Pharmacy, it represents eight decades of filling prescriptions, answering questions, delivering medications, getting to know families and being there for the York community.
Minnich’s Pharmacy will celebrate its 80th anniversary on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its location at 976 S. George Street in York. The community is invited to stop by and help celebrate this milestone.
Minnich’s first opened its doors in 1946. Over the years, much has changed in healthcare and in the pharmacy business, but one thing has remained the same: the importance of taking care of people.
“Eighty years is something we are very proud of, but more than anything, we are thankful,” said Deron Shultz, R.Ph., CEO of Minnich’s Pharmacy. “We have had the privilege of serving multiple generations of families in this community. Many of our customers have been coming to us for years, and those relationships mean a great deal to all of us.”
Today, Minnich’s Pharmacy offers much more than traditional prescription services. The pharmacy provides medication management, adherence packaging, immunizations, delivery services, clinical pharmacy services and long-term care pharmacy services. Through The Medicine Shoppe in York, the organization also provides customized compounding services.
Minnich’s has also remained committed to being a local, employee-owned pharmacy. Employees have a personal investment in the success of the organization and, just as importantly, in the community they serve.
