Description
The YCEA, Rep. Kate Klunk, and the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED)
are hosting a free breakfast to inform area business, municipal, and non-profit leaders on subparts of the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), how the program can be utilized, and the impact it has had locally.
NAP funding makes revitalization happen by leveraging resources and building technical capacity and infrastructure within communities. The tax credit enhances PA and local sales tax revenue, enhances PA and local income tax revenue, and enhances local real estate property tax revenue in targeted communities. NAP offers generous tax credits to businesses in exchange for financial contributions to non-profit, community-based organizations that work in low-income and distressed neighborhoods.
More information on the NAP program can be found here.
Confirmed Speakers:
Silas Chamberlin, VP of Community & Economic Development – YCEA
Rep. Kate Klunk, 169th House District
Marita Kelley, Central Office Regional Director - PA DCED
Eric Saunders, New Hope Ministries
John Heller, RKL
Attendance and breakfast will be free, but registration is required.
Questions on NAP can be directed to David Gonzalez at dgonzalez@yceapa.org or 717.718.7847.
