THE CHALLENGE

Democracy Challenge was created to demonstrate how a necessary shift in politics is needed to advance our democracy in the face of ever-changing challenges and priorities. This event is a live look at how good public policy is debated and created. In one-hour, the Democracy Challenge contenders will reach compromise on a very difficult issue, based on proven political.

For the inaugural event, former Pennsylvania Governors Ed Rendell and Mark Schweiker will have one hour to debate and reach a solution on the role states play in immigration reform.

No Caucus. No Whipping Votes. No Vetoes.
