Young Thinkers of York Merges with YMCA of the Roses to Expand Youth Robotics Program

Young Thinkers of York has officially merged with the YMCA of the Roses. Moving forward, all programs previously operated by Young Thinkers of York will now exist under the YMCA.
 
Ray Ames, former Executive Director of Young Thinkers of York, shared, "Partnering with the YMCA marks an exciting new chapter for our youth robotics program. This merger not only strengthens our resources but also inspires and empowers even more young minds in our community. We are thrilled to join forces and continue our mission of fostering innovation among the youth."
 
In his new role as TechRev Community Manager and Young Thinkers at the YMCA, Ray will continue to lead these initiatives, ensuring that the spirit of creativity and exploration remains at the heart of the program.
 
Larry Richardson, the YMCA’s CEO and President, added, “By integrating this innovative organization into our programs, we are expanding our reach while deepening our commitment to nurturing creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking in young people. Together, we’re building a stronger foundation for future leaders."
 
Young Thinkers of York has long provided students with opportunities and motivation to overcome obstacles and achieve success. Through education and exposure to new STEM experiences, our robotics and engineering programs will expand our young people’s horizons and help them pursue their dreams.
