York County Libraries Start the Countdown for Literacy for Change
                                Kickoff Event Program starts at 9:00 a.m.
 
VISUALS:                      Dignitaries and community members will kick off York County Libraries’ 2026 Literacy for Change in the W. Dale Brougher Foundation Teen Center at Martin Library. The vibrant setting features contemporary furnishings, a solver space for STEAM exploration, books, artwork, and computers. In addition to hearing about the unique initiative, attendees will play an interactive library fact or fiction game, help create a special art canvas, and take selfies with the Literacy for Change signpost.

WHAT:                         York County Libraries (YCL) starts the countdown for its Second Annual Literacy for Change Day of Giving. Dignitaries and community members will gather to kick off the excitement for this year’s community-wide movement to support libraries, empower learners and make a lasting impact across York County.
