Keystone Kidspace Celebrates Five Years of Play, Creativity and Community with Two Big Birthday Celebrations
York, PA — September 2026 — Five years, countless creations, thousands of curious kids, and more than a few wonderfully messy moments later, Keystone Kidspace is turning FIVE!
Since opening its doors, Keystone Kidspace has been on a mission to give children real access to experiences, tools and mentors that ignite their imaginations and help prepare them for a successful future. Now, the York community is invited to celebrate this milestone with two very different — and very Keystone Kidspace — birthday celebrations.
Whether you’re looking for a night out with friends or a family-friendly day of hands-on fun, there’s a birthday party for everyone.
Party with Purpose: September 26, 2026
The celebration kicks off with Party with Purpose 2026, an adults-only fundraiser on Saturday, September 26, from 7–10 p.m.
This is not your average fundraiser. There will be no rubbery chicken, no endless speeches, and definitely no one asking you to “quiet down in the back.”
Instead, Party with Purpose is an art-fueled, cocktail-powered night of grown-up fun where the only thing Keystone Kidspace takes seriously is play.
Guests will step into a fully immersive, wild and wacky maker experience celebrating Keystone Kidspace’s past, present and future. The evening will feature a DJ and light artist collaboration transforming music and vibes into visuals, surprise maker experiences, a signature welcome cocktail, hands-on making and creating, late-night munchies, an open bar and a very cool (and definitely not lame) silent auction.
There will be no sit-down dinner and no boring speeches — just an evening designed to inspire adults to play, create and celebrate while supporting the next five years of Keystone Kidspace.
Tickets are $90 per person, with a “Non-table ‘Table’” option available for up to six guests for $500. Guests who can’t attend can also choose donation-only options.

5th Birthday Bash: October 10, 2026
Then it’s time to celebrate with the whole family!
On Saturday, October 10, Keystone Kidspace will host its 5th Birthday Bash, a completely FREE celebration for kids and families in the community.
And because no Keystone Kidspace birthday would be complete without making, experimenting and getting a little messy, the celebration will feature free maker experiences for kids, including crowd-favorite activities like slime and fire tiles, along with plenty of other hands-on surprises.
Of course, there will also be birthday cake — and it’s free for all kids!
The birthday bash will bring five years of Keystone Kidspace-style fun together for one very big celebration, with tons of confetti, cake, making and exploring.
To make sure as many families as possible can join the party, Keystone Kidspace will offer two identical sessions:
10 a.m.–1 p.m.
2–5 p.m.
Keystone Kidspace will be closed from 1–2 p.m. between sessions.
The Birthday Bash is free and no pre-registration is required. Families can simply choose the session that works best for them and come ready to celebrate.

Five years of Keystone Kidspace means five years of tinkering, making, experimenting, imagining and exploring alongside the children and families who make the organization what it is today.
