Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania welcome two new board of directors, Wendy McCrory Rotz and Carrie Wilburn. Serving 47 counties across Pennsylvania, Easterseals is committed to providing vital programs and services for children and adults with disabilities.
Wendy McCrory Rotz is Senior Account Executive with Seven Mountains Media in State College. She is a graduate of Shippensburg University with 40 years of experience in marketing and fundraising throughout Central Pennsylvania. Wendy’s role at Seven Mountains Media involves working with clients to develop and maintain their brand as well as its market share in more than 16 counties in Central Pennsylvania. Wendy has led fundraising efforts at Shippensburg University Foundation, Penn State University, Mid-Penn Legal Services, and the South Carolina Museum Foundation and as a consultant with the Scotland School for Veterans Children. While at Penn State she led the effort to raise more than $14 million to build Paterno Library and worked with donors making gifts from $10 to multi-million dollars. Wendy and her husband live in State College and are huge Penn State sports fans. She also serves as Secretary of the Friends of Penn State Men’s Hockey Club.
Carrie Wilburn is an owner and real estate agent at CENTURY 21 Core Partners. She has over 20 years’ experience as a trusted advisor and a dedicated advocate for her clients. Carrie works alongside her husband Scott Wilburn on a team that provides unparalleled professional service to their buyers and sellers. In addition to her role as a successful agent and owner, Carrie actively engages in recruiting and training agents at CENTURY 21 Core Partners. Raised in the Hudson Valley of New York, Carrie is a farm-girl at heart. Even after leaving New York and traveling throughout her
enlistment in the US Air Force, Carrie has always found comfort in the simpler things in life. Seeking a more rural setting to raise their family, Scott and Carrie relocated to York County, Pennsylvania in 2005, making this home for both family and business. Throughout the last twenty years, Carrie has laid down significant local roots, being involved in various community activities.
Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania President and CEO Jim Bennett states, “We are pleased to welcome Carrie and Wendy to Easterseals’ Board of Directors. Each will bring valuable insight and expertise from the communities they serve.”
Wendy McCrory Rotz and Carrie Wilburn join 11 other board or directors representing Easterseals Western and Central PA’s headquarters and offices in Pittsburgh, Johnstown, State College, Franklin, and York. Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is leading the way to 100% equity, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities, families, and communities.
