MENTORSHIP YORK ANNOUNCES 2026 CLASS

Mentorship York recently welcomed its 16th cohort, launching earlier this month with 11 participants.

The program is designed to accelerate successful leaders toward meaningful community impact through servant leadership and intentional connection. Each participant is paired in a one-on-one mentoring relationship with an experienced community leader, complemented by monthly group conversations facilitated by a different mentor throughout the year.

Mentorship York serves as a form of community succession planning for York, helping bridge generational leadership gaps and support the transfer of knowledge, experience, and perspective across generations. The program operates on a calendar-year basis.

Leadership York’s mission is to train, connect, and inspire individuals to serve the York community in leadership positions. The organization was founded in 1978 and boasts over 4,600 graduates from its seven programs. Those graduates provide leadership to more than 250 nonprofit organizations and serve thousands of constituents in state and local government. Leadership York is the primary resource for developing inspired leadership for our changing community. For more information, visit leadershipyork.org.
