Attention Hijacked author to speak with area teens

“Attention Hijacked” Author Erica B. Marcus will speak with area high school students about the impact of daily technology consumption on Thursday, April 3.  According to a recent Pew Research Center study ( Teens, Social Media and Technology 2024 | Pew Research Center ), nearly half of teens say they use the internet almost constantly.   Marcus will explore tech benefits and possible drawbacks with York County teens. She believes that bringing awareness and intention to tech use can help individuals make healthier choices
