Give Local York 2026: York County’s Biggest Day of Giving Returns on April 30 & May 1

York, PA - The countdown is on to Give Local York 2026, set for April 30 - May 1, 2026, when thousands of our neighbors will once again come together to show their love for the community that gives so much back. As York County’s biggest day of giving, Give Local York has raised more than $30 million since its inception, fueling hundreds of local nonprofits that make a daily difference across the region.

Hosted by the White Rose Leadership Institute, Give Local York empowers people to invest directly in the causes they care about - whether that’s arts and culture, youth and education, animal welfare, the environment, or human services. Each dollar raised stays right here in York County, strengthening the organizations that sustain our community year-round.

“Give Local York isn’t just a fundraiser. It’s a celebration of a community in action.” Says Kasey Lofties, Give Day Director for the White Rose Leadership Institute. “Every gift, no matter the size, is an investment in York’s future. And for 2026, we’re excited to make that experience even more engaging, accessible, and impactful.”

New for 2026: More Tools, More Training, More Giving
The Give Local York 2026 campaign will introduce a refreshed giving platform, expanded free training opportunities, and new community engagement tools designed to help participating nonprofits maximize their fundraising potential. Nonprofits can take advantage of workshops and resources provided by the White Rose Leadership Institute, helping local organizations grow their digital storytelling, strengthen donor relationships, and build lasting leadership capacity.

Registration for nonprofits opens this today, with several early-bird opportunities for organizations to learn, plan, and connect before the big day. Organizations can head to GiveLocalYork.org to register.

From 7 PM on Thursday, April 30 through 7 PM on Friday, May 1, donors can visit www.givelocalyork.org to support their favorite local nonprofits. Every contribution, large or small, adds up to real impact. This year’s event will once again include hourly prizes, stretch pools, and live community celebrations across York County.
