York, PA – First Capital Federal Credit Union joined communities across York County in celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, connecting with local families and residents at events in Dallastown, Dover, Manchester, West Manchester Township, and Springettsbury Township
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes stronger relationships between residents, law enforcement, first responders, and local organizations. First Capital team members participated in five local celebrations, providing a colorful sand art activity for children while connecting with parents and other community members throughout the evening.
Children visiting First Capital’s tables could choose from a variety of colorful sand to create their own unique sand art jars to take home. While families participated in the activity, First Capital employees shared information about credit union membership, financial services, and the many ways First Capital supports the communities it serves.
“National Night Out gives us an opportunity to connect with our neighbors outside of the credit union and be part of the communities we serve,” said Tara Houser Minetos, Senior Vice President of Marketing at First Capital Federal Credit Union. “Whether families stopped by to make some sand art or learn more about First Capital, we enjoyed having those conversations and being part of an evening focused on bringing people together.”
