CPC to host Poverty Simulation in Hanover
Community Progress Council invites Hanover and York County community leaders to join us for an interactive Poverty Simulation in June
This hands-on learning opportunity for community leaders is extended by special invitation: Step into the shoes of specific person in a low-income family, and engage in short simulated “weeks” with real-time opportunities to get to work, care for your children, connect to resources, and navigate the unexpected. Targeted to community leaders, elected and appointed officials, business owners, nonprofit leadership and Boards of Directors, faith-based leaders and more, a Poverty Simulation is a unique opportunity to gain another perspective.
