About the Panelists
 
Jared Barnes
Owner and Head Brewer, Collusion Tap Works
Jared Barnes has been brewing professionally for 13 years at multiple breweries and restaurants across the east coast. Along with his father and uncle, he opened Collusion Tap Works in 2016 in York, PA, and a second location in Lititz, PA in 2021.
 
Richard Foard
Co-Owner, Vortex Brewing Company
Following a 30 plus-year career in business and construction, Richard Foard was excited by the opportunity to combine his professional skill set with his longtime passion for craft beer. Leaning on his construction and business expertise, Rich led the brewery and tap room design project from concept to creation. 
 
Mike LaHatte
Owner and Brewhouse Operations Manager, AleCraft Brewery
Mike LaHatte is a person who strives to create and enhance experiences for people. He has been in the brewing industry for seven years, with AleCraft for a year, and likes to experiment with building recipes as well as sketching designs for labels. Mike enjoys exploring the wilderness, cooking / baking, and questioning everything.

Nate Fochtman
Founder, The FreeMind Group
Nate Fochtman is in the business of building networks of efficiency and mutual benefit within a vast variety of industries. After landing in York in 2011, he hit the ground running connecting with local businesses through his business development, collaboration with countless area businesses, associations, and nonprofits to build engaging consumer experiences for his brands. Nate’s efforts have been felt locally and regionally and have been recognized on the national platform with accolades from the Brewers Association, National Beer Wholesaler Association, and various trade publications. Nate resides in West York with his wife, blended family of eight, and their bloodhound, Mae. Outside of business, he can be found coaching the West York High Wrestling & West York Boy Club Wrestling programs and heard through all podcast platforms on The FreeMind Podcast.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for a full refund are accepted until seven days prior to an in-person event. Once the deadline is past, there is no refund for those who have registered for an in-person event and cancelled, and unpaid registrations will be billed for the function, whether they attend or not. Registrations may be transferred to another person upon notifying the York County Economic Alliance. No refunds are offered for cancellations of virtual event registrations, however a credit for a future virtual event can be applied for cancellations given within 48 hours of the event.
