Join us for our June Economics Club Breakfast, when we'll get a transportation update from industry experts Rich Farr, Executive Director of rabbittransit and Mark Wisniewski, Manager, Supply and Trading at Shipley Energy.
Farr will talk about the state of regional transportation and public transportation for the future, as well as how the business community can partner with the transportation sector. We'll also get expert insight from Wisniewski on the rising cost of fuel and energy.
This Economics Club breakfast will be held in person with Q&A at the end of the event.
About the Presenters
Richard Farr
Executive Director, rabbittransit
Richard Farr is the Executive Director of the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority, also known as rabbittransit, a regional public transportation provider serving the residents of eleven Central Pennsylvania Counties, providing over 4.5 million trips a year. Over the past decade, Farr has been a champion for transit modernization, human service transportation coordination and innovative partnerships. He was appointed to the National Transit Institute’s Advisory Board and currently serves as a board member of the Wellspan Healthcare System.
Mark Wisniewski
Manager, Supply and Trading Refined Products, Shipley Energy
Mark has spent the last decade in the energy industry with extensive downstream experience in wholesale fuels, refining and marketing, and renewables. Prior to energy supply operations and trading, he worked in finance and wealth management, starting his career in risk management with Merrill Lynch in 2006.
The Economics Club Breakfast series offers an informative monthly breakfast and provides attendees the opportunity to network with key business and community leaders. A variety of speakers discuss economic and business updates important to York County.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for a full refund are accepted until seven days prior to an in-person event. Once the deadline is past, there is no refund for those who have registered for an in-person event and cancelled, and unpaid registrations will be billed for the function, whether they attend or not. Registrations may be transferred to another person upon notifying the York County Economic Alliance. No refunds are offered for cancellations of virtual event registrations, however a credit for a future virtual event can be applied for cancellations given within 48 hours of the event.
