July 16, 2020
Local storyteller Beth Rebert, from Fun-in-It Storytelling, is performing online as part of the York County Libraries SummerQuest program for kids and teens.  Using props, costumes, and character voices, Rebert will tell the tale of “The Magic Fish” by Freya Littledale.

“Beth’s interpretation and delivery of stories has made her a family favorite at our libraries,” says York County Libraries Youth Services Director Paula Gilbert.  “If you have seen her tell tales at our GOAL Celebration or library events, you already know that you don’t want to miss this live SummerQuest performance.”

Rebert’s programs will air live on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 13; 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16; and 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22.  Interested individuals should sign up using the event calendar on yorklibraries.org.  The library will email the Zoom link to registrants the day prior to the event.

This year’s SummerQuest program offers hundreds of fun and educational programs online for children and families to enjoy at home.  The activities are provided free of cost to participants, thanks to the generous support of The York Water Company and The Rite Aid Foundation, with additional support by WellSpan Health, and The GIANT Company.
