York College of Pennsylvania: Carroll Community College sign partner agreement

York College and Carroll Community College (Carroll) signed a partnership agreement on June 6 that provides students who graduate with an associate’s degree from Carroll guaranteed admission to York College at the junior level.
 
“This agreement indicates that we want to work closely with Carroll Community College in providing a good pathway for their students who are interested in finishing their education with York College,” said Katie Schwienteck, associate registrar for transfer articulation at York College. “We will be active on their campus meeting with their interested students.”
 
“It was a pleasure to have visited York College of Pennsylvania’s beautiful campus and to have signed our new articulation agreement,” said Dr. James D. Ball, president of Carroll Community College. “The visionary administration at York College is on the cutting edge, expanding programs to serve regional economic development needs. York College is committed to strengthening transfer opportunities for Carroll Community College graduates, and I look forward to our mutual cooperation as we build meaningful opportunities between our vibrant institutions.”
