York College Division of Advancement adds members, updates title

York College's Division of Advancement has recently added new team members and updated titles for several others.
 
Glenn Miller of York joined the division as senior major gift officer on July 1. He has spent more than 16 years working in development, including most recently as the vice president for external relations and foundation president for Lutheran Social Services/SpiriTrust Lutheran in York, and prior to that, as head of development at Carthage College and Philadelphia Seminary. He is an active member of the York community serving on a variety of local boards and organizations. In his current position, he will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and assist with mentoring gift officers. 
 
Sarah Mason of York (previously of Hagerstown, Md.) joined the division in June as assistant director of donor relations. She is a 2019 graduate of York College with a major in human services. She was a site coordinator for York County Libraries and an admissions intern and orientation leader at the College. She will implement a stewardship program, execute donor events, and create donor acknowledgement letters. 
 
Jennifer DeAngelo of Bellefonte joined the College in March as a major gifts officer and was recently named senior advancement officer. She has more than 13 years of development experience in higher education, including most recently as the owner of her own consulting company, and prior to that at the Lock Haven University Foundation and at The Pennsylvania State University. Her main duties will be principal and planned giving and creating a College development plan. 
 
Bonnie Caton of Gettysburg is serving as institutional partnership officer after serving as a major gifts officer for more than a year. She was previously the founder of Corks for Cancer and the director of corporate and foundation relations at McDaniel College in Westminster, Md. In her new role, Caton will manage the development relationships with the College's supporting organizations while also managing an individual portfolio.
