YoCo Bloom is Back with WBCO Grant Opportunity
The York County Economic Alliance (YCEA) and the Women’s Business Center Organization (WBCO) are proud to announce a new women-focused grant opportunity.
YoCo Bloom launched in summer 2018 as a business tool for YCEA members to support access to capital to solve a company need. Three local businesses received the first wave of grant funding: AK Beatz, Marshmallow MBA, and Mount Rose Barberama. This program is now expanding under the WBCO brand, a program of YCEA, to support women business owners in our community.
“This is the perfect merriment of two very successful programs, Bloom and the WBCO,” said Kevin Schreiber, president and CEO of the YCEA. “We are excited to offer this opportunity to support women-owned businesses and make things happen in our community.”
The application is open beginning today, March 25, and closes April 30. Finalists will be announced at the May 14 WBCO Luncheon. Then, they will be part of the live pitch competition at the WBCO Summer Networking event schedule for June 18 at Wyndridge Farm.
YoCo Bloom, open to all YCEA members will be available again later this year. The program will also launch a Downtown focused arm in support of the Strategic Affiliation between YCEA and Downtown Inc.
