The YMCA of York and York will host its annual “LIVESTRONG at the YMCA” Gala on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Wyndham Garden York. The evening will highlight the past, present, and future of the “LIVESTRONG at the YMCA” program and discuss its goal of improving the lives of cancer survivors as they regain their physical, emotional, and spiritual strength.
This year, the keynote speaker will be Karen Mills, a comedian, guest speaker, and cancer survivor.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour. Dinner will begin at 5:45 p.m. with the program beginning shortly after. Also included will be a live band and DJ, a photo booth, and silent/live auctions.
The Black Tie Gala will be hosted at the Wyndham Garden, 2000 Loucks Road in York, PA. Individual Gala dinner tickets are $100 per person – “early bird” through August 31st, $125 per person – starting September 1st.
“It’s a night to remember,” says Larry Richardson, President/CEO. “To see everyone dressed up in their finest attire coming together for an evening with the common goal to raise money to benefit the program for cancer survivors is truly something that you have to witness.”
