YMCA and York Revolution Partner for Virtual Gala

July 31, 2020
The YMCA of York and York County and the York Revolution are collaborating to hold the YMCA’s annual Black Tie Gala virtually at PeoplesBank Park, home of the York Revolution on October 1, 2020 at 6:30 pm.

The YMCA made the decision to make their annual gala virtual this year to protect the health and wellbeing of its supporters and team. By working with the York Revolution, the YMCA will put together a cutting-edge online event that will capture the spirit of an in-person gala and raise the funds needed to deliver the Y’s life-changing work to those who need it the most.

The gala, now called a Virtual Live Benefit, will raise money for LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a free program for cancer survivors that empowers them to reclaim their physical, mental, and emotional strength after their courageous fights with the deadly disease.

The Virtual Live Benefit will be recorded at PeoplesBank Park and livestreamed online. Anyone can log on and participate free of charge in the event, which will include online auctions, speakers, a live appeal, and stories from those involved with LIVESTRONG at the YMCA.
