  • White Rose Appreciation Award Winner, presented by Glatfelter Insurance Group – D. Reed Anderson, Stock & Leader
The York County Economic Alliance established the White Rose Appreciation Award as a way to recognize and support those individuals who, over the years, have played an active role with the YCEA and within the York community. After forty-nine years with Stock & Leader, Reed’s strong desire to help individual and business clients in the York area continues as he provides counsel in real estate, zoning and land development, estate planning, estate administration and general civil law. Reed has given countless hours to serving his community locally and regionally. In his hometown of New Park, his activities have included the fire company, library and his local church. A vision that he and dear friend Bill Simpson shared was that of creating a destination attraction for York County.  Upon Bill’s passing, Reed worked tirelessly to see their vision through. The Steam Into History project became a reality in June 2013 and is one of York Counties largest tourism attractions.
