Wyndridge Farm saw an opportunity to help benefit United Way of York County’s COVID-19 Response Fund
Cases for a Causes-- A three day fundraiser that sold out in two days with support from the community
Dallastown, PA — Wyndridge Farm, located at 885 S. Pleasant Avenue, Dallastown, PA 17313, saw an opportunity to help benefit United Way of York County’s COVID-19 Response Fund with a fundraiser called Cases for a Cause.
Cases for a Cause started on Wednesday, April 8th and was scheduled to last three days. The Team at Wyndridge Farm was prepped and ready to go with a drive-thru case pick-up that offered a select craft beers produced by Wyndridge Farm. All monies raised at the fundraiser were slated to go to the COVID-19 Response Fund. Before 1:00 pm struck, Wyndridge Farm had their first guest. One after another, cars continued to roll in. By the end of the first day, 75% of Wyndridge Farm’s select inventory was sold. There were only 67 cases left at the end of the day, which were sold the following day. Restaurant Manager Erica Sanders, worked both days of the fundraiser. “It was really nice getting to see some of our regulars and hearing all of the positive feedback.” stated Sanders.
With only a week to promote Cases for a Cause, Wyndridge Farm was astonished by the turnout and success of the fundraiser. In two days, with over 100 donations, Cases for a Cause raised $6,500 for the United Way of York County’s COVID-19 Response Fund. Wyndridge Farm gives thanks to the community for supporting this cause.
