Wyndridge Farm’s hard cider products, known as “Wyndridge Cider Co.”, makes the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s “PA Preferred” list which supports PA farmers
Wyndridge Farm, located at 885 S. Pleasant Avenue, Dallastown, PA 17313, is excited to officially be recognized as “PA Preferred” by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s, for their hard cider produced by Wyndridge Cider Co.
PA Preferred is “your resource for finding locally grown and processed agricultural products from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The department launched PA Preferred to identify and promote food and agricultural products grown, produced and processed in Pennsylvania.” - PA Dept. of Agriculture (https://www.agriculture.pa.gov).
Wyndridge’s hard cider is made with fresh pressed PA apples sourced from local farms in the area; including Peter’s Orchards, Brown’s Orchards, Boyer Nursery, and many more. Wyndridge produces 3,000 gallons of cider a day, processing 800 bushels of apples using an accordion style press, custom built for a more optimal production speed. The addition of the apple press back in 2019 has increased the quality and flavor of cider blends through allowing hand selected PA apple varieties for hard cider fermentation.
Wyndridge Farm is very proud to be a part of the state’s agricultural community, and contribute in sharing the bounty of the land.
