UPMC Opens New Endocrinology Practice and Welcomes Dr. Xiannian Wu to York
UPMC announced today it has opened an endocrinology practice in York where Xiannian Wu, MD, who has just joined the health system, will see patients. “It is important to continue to expand services and recruit new providers so that our communities can benefit from critical endocrinology care without having to travel,” said Philip Guarneschelli, president, UPMC Pinnacle.
UPMC’s specialized team of endocrinologists treat patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary gland disease, osteoporosis, and menopause. In addition, they diagnose and treat a variety of disorders including metabolic, hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, calcium, and parathyroid and lipid disorders.
