THE YORK COUNTY ALE TRAIL REOPENS ITS CRAFTY EDUCATIONAL TOURS

YORK, PA Friday, April 2, 2021 - The York County Ale Trail has reopened its walking and Brew Bus tours.

The York County Ale Trail has offered both walking and Brew Bus tours since 2018, providing exclusive, educational and entertaining tours of the amazing York County craft beer scene led by their knowledgeable and experienced Beer Guides. Guests experience established as well as up-and-coming craft breweries; enjoy a guided tasting of a variety of craft beers; participate in exclusive facility tours; and interact with local brewers and staff, while learning about craft beer and local historical anecdotes.

The York County Ale Trail was forced to close its tours in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to being unable to take people on their walking and Brew Bus tours, the York County Ale Trail created the Ultimate Virtual Craft Beer Experience so that they could bring their exclusive, educational and entertaining tours to guests in the comfort of their own homes. Guests on their virtual tours receive a custom gift box containing 4-hand selected craft beers, an exclusive tasting glass and tasting notes, suggested food pairings, and a one-hour online guided tasting with their knowledgeable and experienced Beer Guides. The response to the virtual tours from individuals and groups, as well as businesses has been overwhelming!

According to Glenn J. Smith, Founder of the York County Ale Trail, the time is right to reopen their walking and Brew Bus tours. “We have reopened our tours with the safety of our guests, staff and community at the forefront. Rest assured that we are prepared and committed to providing the Ultimate Craft Beer Experience we have become known for in a safe and sanitary way to ensure the health and welfare of all those involved.”
