Are you over the feeling and the dread of being sick and tired during this current pandemic for COVID-19?  The YMCA of York and York County invites all in the community to participate in a free six-week Reset challenge designed to help transform spirit, mind and body.  “At this time, more than anything people need a reset, a boost from this past year,” said York YMCA Director of Operations Karen Ruppert.  “The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on everyone in a variety of ways. A feeling of isolation that at a time has been trying for many to get through. This RESET challenge provides an opportunity to get active and healthier by yourself or with your family and friends, together.”
Beginning in January 2021, you can opt-in to the free challenge by texting RESET2021 to 474747. Follow the prompts to sign-up for the challenge that begins on February 1.
A FREE, 6-week challenge. Exercise 150 minutes per week!
You will receive three informative and motivational emails/texts a week filled with motivation, challenges, workouts, and more. Participating in the Reset challenge will also let you have access to in-person and virtual support and resources from the YMCA for members and guests.
All participants receive a FREE FitKit (printable planning calendar and resistance band) and YMCA members get a FREE t-shirt! Community members who complete the program may become YMCA members WITHOUT paying a joining fee and can visit the Y once a week for FREE during the challenge!
Free YMCA live and On Demand classes will be available including Zumba, yoga, HIIT and many more by heading to the York County YMCA YouTube page.
