Purses with a Purpose: YMCA Live/Silent Purse Auction to Benefit Southern Community Services

The YMCA of York County invites you to the 7th Annual Purse Auction on Friday, March 27, 2020, at the Country Club of York, located at 1400 Country Club Road
York, PA 17403. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
During this memorable evening, bid on a variety of designer handbags and accessories to raise funds for the Southern Community Services program at the Southern Branch YMCA. 
Event includes:
  • Over 150 purses available in live and silent auctions!
  • Hors d’oeuvres/finger food
  • Free glass of champagne with ticket purchase
  • Cash bar during the event
  • 50/50, Fur Raffle and fishbowls Small Games of Chance
  • Door prizes and more!
For this event, each ticket will cost $40 prior to the event, $45 at the door.
“We are making a difference in people’s lives,” stated Susan Eckhart, Direct of Family Services. “This Purse Auction is a priceless event for those in attendance where we all come together to have fun and also raise money to support the people in need throughout Southern York County.”
This year, the YMCA hopes to raise $25,000 with all proceeds going to the YMCA Southern Community Services program.

Southern Community Services (SCS) is a United Way funded program that provides essential social and support services to low and moderate income residents of southern York County living in the Southern, Southeastern, Dallastown, and Red Lion school districts. Programs offered include utility assistance, fuel assistance, homeless assistance, Project E.L.V.E.S Program, Food Pantry, Infant need assistance, and more.
