Natural Egg Dyeing Program at Nixon Park

The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a Natural Egg Dyeing Program at Nixon County Park Nature Center Sunday, April 7 and Saturday, April 20.  There will be two sessions each day: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. 
Learn the history and lore of egg dyeing, then try the art of dyeing eggs naturally using onion skins, blueberries, coffee, etc. with park staff and volunteers. Bring hardboiled eggs and be sure to wear old clothes (no more than a dozen eggs per participant). Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Appropriate for ages 5 through adult.  
Fee is: $5 per dyer, no fee for helpers.  Preregister at 717-428-1961.
