Martin Library to Participate in 2022 GivingTuesday

YORK, PA – Martin Library in York will participate in GivingTuesday on Tuesday, November 29. Launched in 2012, the global day of giving annually inspires millions of people worldwide to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This is the fourth year that Martin Library is participating.

“Martin Library staff members are incredibly innovative in their delivery of services to the community,” says York County Libraries President Robert F. Lambert. “Of note, is their new area for teens which is equipped with a solver space, maker space, and production studios. Staff and field experts work with local teens to help them acquire new skills and discover potential careers.”

Contributions received during GivingTuesday will support Martin Library's Annual Appeal which has a goal of $50,000. The library depends on local community support to help fund its ongoing provision of free library service. Individuals interested in including the library as part of their year-end giving can do so at donate.yorklibraries.org.
