IRE Announces Sale of Tidy-Up Self Storage in Pennsylvania

Investment Real Estate, LLC announces the sale of Tidy-Up Self Storage to a private investor. The property is located on West Maple Street in the town of East Prospect, which is in York County.
 
Tidy-Up is comprised of one multi-purpose building containing self storage, retail space and two vacant apartments. The large basement is home to one tenant, but can easily be converted into additional storage. There is also additional land for future expansion.
 

George Hatchard, Brokerage Advisor for Investment Real Estate, says, “Typically, we market larger stand-alone self storage facilities. Tidy-Up is a small self storage facility with non-storage revenue sources on the property. When Brian bought the property, he planned to convert the entire building into self storage, but never had the time to make that happen. The buyer will now have that opportunity. I enjoyed getting to know both Brian and his wife Nathalie. We are so happy to sell their investment property at the asking price.”
 
Tidy-Up Self Storage is situated near the York-Lancaster County line and the Susquehanna River. The storage portion of the facility was 100% occupied at the time of the sale.
