Hanover Logistics Continues to Expand

January 28, 2019
To accommodate increased growth of their third-party logistics (3PL) businesses, Hanover Logistics has purchased of the former 325,000 square foot GlaxoSmithKline Distribution Center in the Penn Township Industrial Park. This is the 2nd acquisition in recent years, having purchased the former 435,000 square foot Delia’s distribution facility in 2015. This most recent acquisition increases their total space capacity to more than 1.2 million square feet in Hanover.

“Our businesses continue to expand to serve clients who require efficient distribution and transportation services. Locating their inventory near to major north east and mid-Atlantic markets is a critical element toward accomplishing this”, said Kurt Dietrich, President. “Because Hanover is centrally located in the hub of the northeast, has proximity to the Port of Baltimore, access to multiple interstate highways and major railroad access, Hanover fits the bill for many companies.”

Hanover Logistics, provides warehousing, transportation and e-commerce order fulfillment services through two well-established, Hanover-based operating companies; Hanover Terminal, Inc., the warehousing company formed in 1956 and R.H. Crawford, Inc., the transportation company, formed in 1932.
