Groff North America is pleased to name Geoff Finch as Division President of its newly opened processing facility. Geoff has previously worked with Wenger Feeds, a 320-employee feed and food agribusiness with eight manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania and Maryland, for over 20 years. Beginning in procurement and risk management and moving to Quality and Nutrition, Geoff progressed on to become Chief Operating Officer. Geoff was promoted to Chief Executive Officer at Wenger, leading the company through years of substantial growth and successful development of niche markets, such as organic and non-GMO feed.
Geoff has served the agricultural industry as the President of PennAg Industries Association, and as an executive committee member of the National Grain & Feed Association.
Geoff’s role at Groff North America will be to leverage his experience in running processing operations to provide leadership as new production facilities launch. The opportunity to help the Groff team to pioneer the hemp revolution, while supporting the farming community, fuels Geoff’s passion, stating “The legalization of hemp in last year’s Farm Bill promises to provide countless new opportunities for the agricultural community. The list of potential uses for hemp products is vast, ranging from animal bedding to concrete reinforcement, to textiles, to CBD ointments and more. I am very excited to be joining the Groff movement as our energetic team helps build out this new industry, starting with our local farmers. Ultimately, we will partner with a customer base focused on innovative and sustainable hemp products.”
