The York County Food Bank is excited to announce that starting April 1st, we will be expanding our Food Bank hours in order to better serve our community! We strive to serve anyone and everyone who is hungry and found that offering a food distribution opportunity in the evening is a way to better serve the hungry. We will also be opening our client choice pantry on the third Saturday of every month, providing a weekend opportunity for those with emergency food vouchers to shop for much needed nutritional assistance! After much thoughtful planning, we are extremely eager to increase the opportunities those in need have to benefit from our programs!
Need food? Can’t make it to a pantry because of day time hours? We have you covered! Anyone in need of nutritional assistance is invited to come to the Food Bank every Tuesday from 5:30pm-7:00pm for our evening food for Families program! Anyone who is hungry qualifies and can benefit from this free program.
Spread the word to any hungry neighbors that they can now receive food on Tuesday evenings at the Food Bank! We strive to ensure that all who need assistance can get the help they need to thrive!
Our expanded hours include:
Tuesday:Office & Warehouse: 8am-3pm
Shopping Area: 1pm-7pm
Evening Food for Families: 5:30pm-7pm
3rdSaturday:8am-12pm for VOUCHERS ONLY
Daily the York County Food Bank will be closed from 12pm-1pm (Will not affect Food For Families.)
Friday: Friday hours will remain the same at the York County Food Bank. Friday’s Food for Families will not be affected by these hour changes.
