January 24, 2019
Downtown Inc and local businesses are gearing up for February’s First Friday, taking place from 5-9 p.m., February 1, in Downtown York.
First Friday is a monthly event presented by WellSpan Health, which celebrates shops, restaurants, cultural events, and nightlife hotspots of Downtown York. Businesses throughout the city host special events, sponsor live entertainment, offer refreshments and more throughout the night.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, some of the downtown merchants are showing their love for patrons with special themed events and promotions. Read on to find out what’s happening during February’s First Friday.
Editor’s Note: Downtown Inc is passing along information on behalf of its partners. Please direct questions about individual promotions to the respective businesses. This list is not necessarily a complete accounting of all First Friday promotions.

Businesses throughout the Market District have decided to hold a fun contest to see who has the best storefront display. Stop in to each participating shop to cast your vote and you'll be entered to win a Market District reusable tote bag filled with goodies from participating businesses.
