CGA Law Firm is pleased to announce that Taylor Baublitz has joined the firm in the practice areas of education, litigation, municipal law, employment, and estate planning and administration.
Taylor has experience in general education law, special education and gifted matters, and is skilled in advising on discipline, employment, and civil rights matters. Taylor provides legal support to schools on matters such as Right to Know Law requests, statutory interpretation, special education standards, student free speech, constitutional issues, and employment matters. She has represented school districts before various administrative bodies including the Office for Dispute Resolution, Office of Civil Rights, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC), and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Over the last few years, Taylor has developed a comprehensive expertise in areas relating to Title IX. Specifically, Taylor has created training materials for Title IX coordinators, investigators, and decision-maker and have trained hundreds of school personnel on the Title IX process. She has also served as a Title IX investigator and decision-maker in various student and personnel matters. Taylor has also had the opportunity to present and discuss dozens of times in relation to topics such as the Americans with Disabilities Act as it relates to service animals.
Taylor graduated cum laude with her B.A. in Art History from Lebanon Valley College and completed her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law. She is an Eastern York High School alumnus. Currently, Taylor serves on the United Way Human Resource Development Committee. This committee helps create and implement comprehensive development strategy efforts for workplace campaigns, donor relations and cultivation, affinity groups, and planned giving to ensure the ongoing financial vitality of United Way of York County.
